Thanks to everyone who donated items and/or passed the word along last week. Hope House had a terrific response and has received enough couches, and are very close to having all the beds they need.
While emergency needs have been met, the following items can still be accepted at a Hope House location as there will continue to be an ongoing need. Hope House is unable to pick up donations, including furniture. They can only accept donations if you bring them to one of their locations. Call 816-461-4188 x221 for directions.
The following are current needs for the Coalition Against Human Trafficking:

Jacob's Well has children of all ages, and there are plenty of ways to come alongside and show them God’s love. In addition to helping out on Sundays at 9 and 11 am, there are opportunities to work with middle schoolers and high school students during the week. Volunteer opportunities range from helping out one Sunday per month, or you can serve a month at a time, or even once a quarter. You can opt to mentor older students, lead small groups, serve behind the scenes, lead workshops, tell stories, pray, play music, or hold babies. The age groups are infant and toddlers, pre-school and kindergarten, grade school, middle school, and high school. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, contact Laura Dondzila or call her at 816-531-2757 ext. 231.
Our 7-12th grade students have begun to gather in their new space, which is located on the basement level of our building. The room is on the north side of the hallway. With this change, the 1st & 2nd grade folk will meet directly across the hall in our Theatre Room, Sychar Studio.
Do you enjoy sculpting, wood carving or working with felt? Kids’ Community needs a few artists willing to create figures for children to use as they engage in God’s story. For more information, email Laura.
Jacob’s Well Youth are exchanging their time for money to help cover costs for summer trips to Youthfront Camp and Croc, Mexico. If you want to give towards their trips and get help in exchange (moving, yard work, babysitting, etc.) please email Mike Russo. The youth are available most afternoons and weekends.
If you’d like to gather weekly with others from Jacob’s Well who live near you, email Community Groups.
